Guess what? This isn't about war.

A study of Swiss social concerns recently showed that people here are
worried about some things more than war. Health care and health care
politics in the society as a whole came first. Unemployment was number
two among both those employed and unemployed. The concerns among those
who have jobs is something new. Conditions concerning old age and
security within this having to do with pensions and social security are
a third worry. Terrorism and extremism lie further down the list as
they have for several years now.

The conservative political elements will likely benefit from the job
concerns, since many asylum seekers are seen as a threat to the job
market, and these parties have a more aggressive stance concerning
this. Health care concerns are likely to be more the province of the
more socialist parties on the left. It should be interesting to see how
these concerns play out in the elections to come.
