*** Gateway to College at Community College of Philadelphia ***

Gateway to College at Community College of Philadelphia is a scholarship
program for School District of Philadelphia students, ages of 16-20, who
have dropped out of school but have a desire to get back on track and
earn a diploma and more. What makes Gateway to College truly unique is
that students will not only have a second chance to earn a high school
diploma, but Gateway participants will also be earning college credits
toward an associate's degree or certificate.

And gateway to College student recruitment has begun! The process for
interested students is simple:

* Step 1: Check out the website to learn more about the program and to
download an application: www.ccp.edu/site/gateway
<outbind://14/www.ccp.edu/site/gateway> . (Applications can also be
mailed to those without internet access).

* Step 2: Interested student then call the information line
(215-751-8540) to sign up for an orientation (the first Gateway
orientation will be on Tuesday, May 23rd). Additional orientations will
be held on Tuesdays in June and July.

* Step 3: Students with then attend an orientation to learn more about
the program and to complete a reading assessment.

Gateway to College classes will begin during the fall 2006 semester.
There are 140 orientation slots for May and June and 20 slots have been
filled thus far. Please help us spread the word about this exciting new
program.
