"Bach" is the German word for "creek" in English.

There is a lot of water where it shouldn't be right now, but Idyllers 
arriving and leaving are dry. At least here in Sachseln, we have clean 
water, electric power, telephone and internet connections, as well as a 
grocery store full of life's needs. Some other spots are not so lucky. 
Sarnen, Alpnachstad, and other places are hit harder than us.
