The farmers in CH are in deep kim chee (or maybe something more). The 
levels of Guellen (the liquid manure sprayed over the pastures) have 
reached critical levels this winter. This is due to the frozen ground 
in lots of places. There are strict laws about how Guellen must be 
stored and where it can be put on the ground. This prevents percolation 
into rivers, lakes, and streams where it is harmful to fish and plants.

A recent article says that Guellen may be spread on snow covered 
fields, so look out for any brown snow that you see.
