For only the second time in recent history, the Swiss voter will be 
asked to vote upon no less than nine different issues when the national 
elections are held here in May.

There is a proposal to close all the nuclear power plants in CH.
Another idea to be put forth is to link one's health insurance premium 
to one's income and net worth. There is a tax on net worth here, so 
that would be possible to know.
A change in the way property rents are calculated and a reform of the 
Swiss army are others to be considered.
The possibility of a national car free Sunday or Sundays is on the 
ballot also.

Nine issues will make a cumbersome vote. The Swiss are no strangers to 
the ballot box. They vote here more than anywhere else in the world.
