Whoopee!!

Is that ever a challenge. God's country? France? Dodge makes France
sound so great that the French certainly don't deserve it. Do watch
those open toed shoes on the sidewalks though ladies.

As you may see from my surname, there are French in my woodpile. I have
enjoyed some time in Provence, Lyon, and Grenoble, but I was with people
who would have made Hell fun. I do hunger to see Normandy some day. For
the history made there and for research into a seventh great grandmother.

Food? Good food in France but also every where else I have been. I don't
consider Alsace as France but in a secondary way. So do the Alsatians.
The food there was wonderful, and the service friendly. Provence and
Lyon the same. I have yet to visit a country that did not have food to
die for. Even the English can come up with some good stuff. Transport?
So-so other than by car. Ambivalent? Not on your life! I'll take CH or
Austria any day. Maybe no sea coast but lots of beautiful water anyway.
The rest eats France's lunch.

Hang on to your wallets too. OK, I know you can get robbed anywhere, but
it isn't as likely to be by a native in CH or Austria.

God's country is without a doubt, that place where an individual feels
best. For some that might be France, for others, it may be the backyard.
We all have a sphere of comfort, and some have bigger spheres than
others. The size of your sphere does not affect your worth.

Next time Dodge floats by, someone try to get him reeled in.
