Culminating decades of research, it documents the due process violations that occurred during the Watergate cover-up trial. This most dramatic political show trial in modern American history resulted in convictions on all counts of President Nixon’s top aides: John Mitchell, Bob Haldeman and John Ehrlichman. Yet defendants’ Fifth and Sixth Amendment rights to a fair trial were trashed in the process.
