color=#0000ff>In December 2007, the Board of Trustees of the Delaware Museum of
Natural History appointed Halsey Spruance as its Executive Director. The Museum
opened in 1972 to excite and inform people about the natural world through
exploration and discovery. It is the only natural history museum in Delaware and
houses the state’s only permanent dinosaur display, surrounded by exhibits of
mammals, shells, and other artifacts from around the world. The Museum houses
world-renowned collections of mollusks and birds, including the second largest
collection of birds’ eggs in North America. Following a major renovation in
2005, the Museum experienced increased visitation and membership as well as
expanded educational offerings and popular special
exhibits.<o:p></o:p></FONT></FONT></SPAN></P>

the Brandywine Conservancy where he handled all media and public awareness needs
