Gold & Bitcoin – Similarities & Differences

 

Recently, Bitcoin and several other cryptocurrencies have gained
considerable attention in the news and among speculators.  Jon will compare
and contrast the newest and oldest of investment choices.  The role each may
play in an investment portfolio, the challenges of securely holding
positions in each, and the long-term outlooks will be examined.

 

Jon Potts is founder and President of Depository Trust Company of Delaware
and FideliTrade Incorporated.   Jon is a graduate of California State
University, and has been a precious metals professional since 1981.  Prior
to forming Delaware Depository and FideliTrade, Jon held management
positions in the precious metals refining, manufacturing and banking
sectors. Jon is the past Chairman of the International Precious Metals
Institute, past President of the Precious Metals Association of North
America (formerly the Silver Users Association), and the recipient of the
Precious Metals Distinguished Leadership Award.
