The National Park Service (NPS) preserves unimpaired the natural and
cultural resources and values of the national park system for the enjoyment,
education, and inspiration of this and future generations.  The mission of
one of our country's most popular agencies may sound familiar.  It may even
evoke fantastic images of the majestic Yosemite Valley or the Grand Tetons,
but what does it mean to a park in your own backyard?  Join us for a talk on
the process of creating a new national park right here in Delaware and the
exciting progress being made to "preserve unimpaired" the story of the

First State.
