[Idyllchat] Heartland Restaurant Recommendation

For those heading to the Heartland this season I have a restaurant recommendation in Sarnen.  This is not listed in the Untours literature.  It was recommended by the Greutert family.  Aside from the good traditional food, it is a great location on the banks of the rushing river, smoke-free dining, and a lovely cool deck.  Part of the restaurant and deck were rebuilt after the great flood a few years ago.  There is also a Pizzeria Jordan across the street from the traditional restaurant.  

For a look at the menukarte, and directions go to:  http://www.restaurant-jordan.ch/standort.htm   You can practice your German menu expertise, and get an idea of how much a meal will cost.  These are fairly average prices for a family restaurant.  Note two prices for the entrees--kleine (small) portions are more than adequate for most adults.
