Sorry Shutterbug Bill, I saw your New York on the Seine before this one  
which is more characteristic of Paris and one of its more delightful aspects -  
the street performers. They have always been there, on the street and in Metro  
stations.  When Chirac was Paris mayor, he started a program of paid  
performers - singers, jugglers, etc.  These performed daily on the large  square by 
the Pompedeau Modern Art Museum.  I once heard a "concert" by a  small jazz 
ensemble on a bridge leading to the Isle St. Louis that was just  great.  So, 
thanks for this video of two not very good, but charming,  singers.
