[Idyllchat] Paris Untour videos - Bill

  We booked our lunch cruise with Bateaux Parisien.  I was able to book the cruise and pay for it by using their website.  You must make the booking no less than 48 hours before the scheduled cruise.  I booked our May 19 cruise online 5 days before using our borrowed laptop computer in our apartment.         I don't know if cruises are offered in December.  You can email them and ask.  I'm sure there will be a demand for a cruise at that time of year.  The boats are fully enclosed.  We booked the most expensive seating "Service Premier" at 72? each.  That is probably why that section was half empty.  The rest of the less expensive seats were pretty filled up.  "Service Premier" puts you at the front of the boat with the best views (and better meal and wine choices).   I felt that it was worth the splurge.  We thoroughly enjoyed it.  I will be posting another segment of the cruise in which the boat pauses and slowly turns as the piano and violin play "New York, New York" with the Eiffel Tower and Statue of Liberty gradually coming into view on the Seine side-by-side.  It is a great moment.

    Hi Everyone,  We are taking our granddaughters ages 13 and 18 to Paris between Christmas and New Years and are also interested in the river trip.  We are Paris fans and have been there many times.  Three years ago we went with friends for New Years and had a great time.  We can't wait to take our girls to the Eiffel Tower at midnight!  What a scene!  Any ideas about sightseeing with them would also be appreciated.  We will be taking them to the usual museums etc. Bill, the video's were great.
