[Idyllchat] Rental car question

My wife and I are going to England in Sept. and using a rental car.   
We are also planning on going into France
by ferry with the car to stay a week at a Vacation Rental through  
Untours in Normandy.  Then we will return the same
way.  My question is: will there be any problem taking a rental car to  
France either with the rental company,
probably Hertz, or with any insurance problems?
