Many thanks to all who replied.  I'm sure we now have enough information to keep us busy until meeting time.

Thankyou also for the info re: smoked eels.  We enjoyed them while living on Long Island, but they are unheard of here in the Shenandoah Valley. Last year we were able to buy one at the fish stall at the maket in Bern.
