When we were in Tuscany South Lesley Smith arranged a lunch at an organic farm where there were volunteers from the WWOF. She is very alert to options. She is located in the travel agency in Buonconvento and her work is called A Taste of Tuscany. I see on an Untours cafe that she has arranged cooking classes in a home as well. For me the farm experience was an event that broadened my knowledge of what young and old do to travel and have values. Lesley also included prior to lunch a cheese farm...with wine!

Subject: [Idyllchat] Dining with Local Hosts
We will be going to Rome, Venice and Umbria this spring and would love to dine with a local family in at least one of these areas. If anyone is familiar with organizations that offer these services I would appreciate any information or websites that could help me locate a host family.
