Thanks for clearing up the "Limo Lib".  Think I rank as a "generic lib".  Always good to have a little political spin--thanks Jerry.  But honestly Laura, we'll quit now--sorry.  By the way, Culture Chat no longer exits, that is why we slip now and again.  Cheers.  Joan.

A limo lib is one who talks the talk but does not walk the walk. RI is full of them. A term coined by my near-socialist wife who is the source of many humorous political discussions.

Mrs. Slocum died here in Newport the other day. She was 92 but still an active Republican leader in RI. That leaves me alone now.
