[Idyllchat] Paris Hotels

Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced hotel on the Left Bank, in or near  
the 6th Arrondissement or is there something near the Eiffel Tower that would 
be  good?  I recommended the hotel in the Marais and a couple of others to 
some  friends, but they thought it a bit pricey, and it's been several years  
since I was there.
