Those of you who are planning a trip - or have been - to Venice, will enjoy the movie "Bread & Tulips" (Pane e Tulipani).  It's a delightful story about a bored housewife/mom who lives on the Adriatic coast, who accidently gets left behind when their tour bus hurries to the next destination, on the family's annual vacation.  She ends up in Venice, and her adventure begins.  I have the VHS of it, but that's SO outdated now!  I'm sure that now there's a DVD available. (I'm still partially in the dark ages!)
 
I saw the movie three times, and have enjoyed the tape many other times.
