As with others who have responded to you, we had no problem in getting  
tickets the day before the concert.  They are a delightful group.  The  
decommissioned church in which we saw them was an appropriate setting for such  intimate 
music.  As for the Fenice, don't miss it.  I've not seen the  rebuilt theater 
but went to many performances at the original while living in  Venice.  If 
it's anything like it then was, it is the most beautiful of  opera houses in the

I gasped when I saw ticket prices that range from $28 to $414.  Shows  how 
the massive tourist invasion of Venice has affected prices which, at the old  
Fenice in the 1960s, were around $30 top.  But a $28 seat in the rafters is  
still worthwhile, assuming acoustics are as are good as they once were.
