    I don't know if you have an apartment in Venice booked yet for your stay.  We stayed in the Untours "La Fenice" apartment a few years ago and loved it.
    It is a small apartment, but is nicely located -- hardly more than a stone's throw from La Fenice opera house -- and it has a beautiful, private courtyard that overflows with flowers maintained by the landlord.  It is also very near a vaparetto stop, which gives you easy access to the rest of Venice without having to do a whole lot of walking (although walking in Venice is a wonderful way to experience that beautiful city.)
    We liked the apartment and courtyard so much that we would gladly stay there again.

  In 2004, my friends purchased our tickets to Interpreti Veneziani on Thursday July 1 to attend the  concert on Saturday July 3.  It was a pretty full church, and small.  The seats were non reserved, so we got there before the doors opened to get seats together near the front.   Lynanne

    We will be going to Venice this coming May and are planning to see a concert by this chamber group that I learned about by reading Idyllchat messages.  For those of you who have attended one of their concerts in Venice, I would like to know if it is necessary to purchase tickets prior to my trip on line or if it will be easy to just get tickets the night of the performance.  Do their concerts often sell out during the season?  We are music/opera lovers and also plan on visiting “La Fenice.”  Any other recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
