Alongside the Eiger Trail at the base of the North Face is a sign depicting
the route that Harrer and his mates took on their climb.

Both are great books but different. "The White Spider" is an every  
year read for me but was before Harlin's effort. I climb too bit from  
an armchair or in the next life.
