My husband had his wallet taken in Rome while making a purchase in a church.

I've recently found travel socks that have a zipper and small pocket in them. 
I plan to use them to store my passport and credit card. I know pickpockets 
find the neck wallets and money belts easy to remove. Perhaps socks will be 
more difficult for them.

Haven't used them yet. Will keep you posted.
