  Because of the Idyllchat "chats" I bought the $99 version and took it to Australia with us. We only used it twice but it worked just fine. We were charged a total of $3.75 for 2 calls. We've had no charges since. I plan on taking it to Ireland with us in the spring.

  Here at home on our mountain it gets better reception than my Verizon cell phone.
