[Idyllchat] Bastille Day

I was in Paris on Bastille Day quite some time ago (1991, I believe) and yes, the city was pretty crowded.  Coming home on the Metro, I was actually lifted off of my (reasonably substantial) feet by the crush of people on the train.   There was a big parade, fairly military in nature, and fireworks as well.  Of course, as I said, this was some time ago.  It was exciting to be there, really!Amy
