Phil and Jane,
It has been 15 years since we did the trip up the Jungfrau. But, at the time
we were staying in Interlochen and found that the first train of the day had
a substantial discount. As I recall, we had to be at the train station about
7 A.M. or so. At that time we bought our tickets at the TI the afternoon
before and they had a weather forecast for the next morning. The 2004 Rick
Steves guidebook still reported a discount for the first train of the day.
