[Idyllchat] Train travel in Tuscany

We stayed in Northern Tuscany in the apartments in the village of Calci.  We had the car option.  We did take the train from Pisa (which is the closest city of any size to Calci) to La Spezia and on to the Cinque Terre.  I have no idea if there are local trains that you use instead of a car.  You might take a look at www.trenitalia.com  It has an english version in the upper right hand corner.

BTW, I just checked the Untour website, and it says they are unable to offer the Tuscany North Untour in 2008.  That's a surprise.  They had a number of locations there.  I wonder why?
