Hello Lucy,
I agree with everything Phil had to say. We adore the Spitzers and
Golling and met some other Untourists there who have become lifelong
friends. You could always rent a car for a few days to get to those
out of the way places that take longer to reach by public
transportation. The Spitzer's will also do a great job of showing you
around and getting you to some places you might not otherwise find on
your own.
Be sure to check out all the trip logs on the Untours website....it
will save you a lot of time trying to figure out what you want to see
