Vance,
    Jane and I love your "ramblings" and I'm sure most Idychatters do too.
I don't mean this as flattery, but simply a statement of fact: To most
Untourists, you are our Switzerland guide and guru. You are living the life
that the rest of us dream about.  You and Barbara get to enjoy it every day;
the rest of us, only for a few weeks every year.
    Please don't ever think your comments and contributions are unimportant
to us. Through you, we Untourists and Idyllchatters get to live in
Switzerland, too. You enrich our lives and encourage our travels. We thank
you for the gifts you continue to give us.
    Phil King, Spring Lake, MI

With the CHF at par value with the US$, it is a bit different spending
in CH now. Your message to Jerry was an interesting parallel to my
life. My dad died at 53 when I was 18. That impressed me, as he had,
that life's quality was more important than its length. Money spent
for children and grandchildren's education and pleasure is always well
spent.

Hope you all have a grand time. Making memories is fun. Glad you like
my ramblings.
