Fellow Travelers,
A month or so ago we switched from years and years of dialup to high-speed internet access. For me, at least, preliminary observations include:
1. The best thing about dialup is that it's painfully slow.
2. The advantage of 1. is that you use the internet only when absolutely necessary.
3. The advantage of 2. is that you accomplish a lot more in the way of useful and/or fun projects both inside and outside the house.
4. The advantage of 3. is that you spend more time during the day on your feet instead of sitting down.
5. The advantage of 4. is that you don't gain weight.
6. The advantage of 5. is that you feel better.
7. The advantage of 6. is that you wish you still had dialup.
But I don't. So, for no other reason than to waste still more time, I just googled "ATM fees" Among others, the site below came up. It deals with money aspects of European travel. At the bottom of the page that comes up are other links related to money matters for European travelers.

I know the last thing we need is another discussion on ATM matters and conversion fees. For that I apologize. Without high-speed internet access I wouldn't have found it. The addiction must end.
1. Tomorrow, I will not use the internet
2. Tomorrow, I will not use the internet
3. Tomorrow, I will not use the internet

.
1,000. Tomorrow, I will not use the internet
Happy travels,
Dick Stewart
