[Idyllchat] Layover in Madrid.

A young friend of mine is traveling to Rome from the USA with a 6 hour stopover in Madrid.  I've never been there so in behalf of my friend I'm asking if anyone thinks it is worthwhile to leave the airport for a few hours and suggestions on how he and a friend might use their short time in Spain.  (Provided that the flights are all on time.)
