It's certainly not comforting to find others experiencing the same
problem, but there are noises we can make that might help. For
instance, letters to the Subcommittee on Aviation Operations, Safety,
and Security might stir up some action:

Of course, nothing is certain, but it has been claimed that each
letter received is seen as reflecting the views of many who do not
write. And with an election year coming (as if we need to be
reminded), perhaps something can happen--or start to happen--in this
country.
