We here in Western New York on the great Lake Erie are thinking the same.  Whatever you learn, please share with us.  We have been viewing some interesting deals for off-season, e.g. Sunset Bay Resort, but have no feedback on this or other places to stay.  We really don't need beach weather (we have that all summer long) but we would like sun 50's in the daytime, good prices and ease in exploring plus English speaking service providers. Anyone with info?
