Hi Linda,
 
We spent 2 wonderful weeks in Germany at an apartment in Bachrach in  
2004..It was great being able to ride up and down on the Rhine in the boats and  stop 
at lots of towns along the way.  Since we don't like to drive in a  foreign 
country  two week in one place  would be our choice.  If  you go to the Castle 
you have to have a car.  However, that may not be a  concern to you.  Either 
way you are in for a wonderful treat.
