[Idyllchat] Uffuzi and Academia in one day

Hello Untourists who've been there and done that!
As the days count down to my Untour of South Tuscany, I'm becoming a bore to all my friends because all I talk about is......GOING!!!!!
 
Here's a question -
Thanks to you Idyllchatters, I made reservations for Tuesday (because the museums are closed on Mondays)as we return home on Wednesday,  for the Uffuzi and Academia.  One is at 12:30 p.m. and could only get the other one at 5:00 p.m..  
For those of you who HAVE done both - 
1. Can I do both in that one afternoon (oh, please say yes)!
2.  The last tour at 5 p.m. - will that give us at least a couple of hours before they close the doors and usher us out?
3.  Do you know if we can use the "Hop on - Hop off" bus to get from one to the other?
