[Idyllchat] Meiringen - Jaun Apartment

We just returned from our Untour in Meiringen.  In previous years we have stayed at the Jaun Apartment, but it was not offered this year.  Kristina, the Jaun's daughter, had advised us in February that her mother had died and that the doctor had advised her that she needed a rest.

When we arrived in Meiringen we asked the Untour hosts about how Kristina was doing.  We were shocked to learn the Kristina had also died!  According to her neighbor, she was diagnosed with lung cancer about the time of her mothers death and died at Easter.  

There are no family members left, so the house is up for sale.  A sad ending to a very nice family and Untour host.

Thought this might be of interest to those of you having stayed with the Jaun's in the past.
