Marcia,
I have always taken my vitamins in a baggie (bottles take up too much space for my liking). I just count out how many I need for the trip, put them in a baggie along with a piece of paper which lists what the vitamin is and the amounts of each ingredient (for multivitamins). Do the same thing for allergy pills, pain relief, etc. Have absolutely never had a problem with this -- whether it's been in my carryon or checked bag. If I had to take a prescription medication with me, I would not do that -- I would keep it in it's bottle with the prescription label clearly showing.
I suppose the day might come when this won't work, but until that day comes, that's how I'm going to continue to carry my over the counter vitamins and medications.
I'm sure other chatters will give you other ideas. Good luck with whatever you decide.
Enjoy your trip.

Hi Everyone ~
We're leaving on my dream trip to Italy very soon. Can I put vitamin supplements in one bottle in my suitcase without a problem? I take several and thought if I could put them in one vitamin container, life would be simpler.
Thanks,
Marcia
