Remember in Venice once you leave the airport there is
a bus to the Vaporetto and then a 45 + ride across the
Lagoon to Venice. The time has to be factored in. We
are flying direct to Dulles in Washington from Munich
but we are taking the train from Venice to Munich and
spending a couple of days in Munich on our way home in
early October. This is because of the time on the
connections to Munich or Frankfort from Venice being
VERY early in the morning and having to factor in more
than an hour to get to the airport.
