 Hi Carol.................... $100.00 cash is a dream.  It sure would be
nice but it sounds like you are going on an escorted trip to China.  Your
biggest expense will be your tipping obligations and those are made in
cash.  You can sort of figure it out from what the tour company suggests.
 I would say you will need about $400.00 (for 2 people).  Outside of that
Mitchell is right...You wont need a lot of cash.........but you should
make sure you are covered.  Also, you will be using your credit card for
most of your spending but don't count on American Express.  That is the
least acceptable anywhere in the world it seems.  You say you don't shop
much..Wait until you are in China..
