We just returned from Italy Florence & Montalcino) used them both  places. It 
is un real how cheap it is ,we were charged $1 to withdraw money from  our 
stateside account 360 euros each withdrawal. I think this was a bargain  being 
able to get money anytime and almost any town we visited even the very  small 
ones. I might take enough with me for the cab ride or bus to the hotel but  
that is all. One other bargain using the ATMS the money you do not need today is  
in the machine not some thief's pocket which can happen in a busy  airport.
