Hi all,

 I'm thinking about making a big change from Venice in 2008.  I like to go there during the bienalle in odd numbered years.

I will probably be traveling alone this summer and would like to go to Lieden with Untours.  I know there are ground floor apartments available, and since I am becoming less agile, how easy is it to get around on the trains, busses, walking, etc.  I'd like to take some daytrips and/or overnights.  Went to Brugges 10 or so years ago, and would love to go back for a few days.

Any ideas/input to help me decide?
