Hi, Amy.
Chuck Cobb is right. You don't need to go outside of the O'Hare terminal to get
to the Hilton. The exception is if you arrive from Terminal 5, aka the International
Terminal, which is located apart from the main complex of terminals 1, 2 & 3.
In that case you would take the airport train to Terminal 2 and then go down to
the tunnel to parking and to the hotel.
That's pretty straightforward. The real controversy comes when we talk about
Chicago pizza. Everyone has a favorite that's the *best*. If you are short of time
there is a Giordano's Pizza in Rosemont that is a short cab ride from the airport.
Giordano's is franchise operations with many locations and is my personal
choice for either thin crust or deep dish pizza.
If you want the so-called "original" deep dish pizza, hop on the El train right
there at the airport and ride into the city. It's call the Blue Line. Get off at any
of the Loop stops, Washington, Monroe or Jackson and after some
sightseeing in the Loop you can catch a cab to Gino's East. This puts you
in the Michigan Avenue "Magnificent Mile" area where you can do plenty of
window shopping, or the real thing if you haven't spent all your souvenir allowance.

While we are on the subject of airports (which has been very educational),
are there any comments on O'Hare?
We are paying extra to fly out of O'Hare to Zurich in summer '08 - I have
never been to O'Hare. On return, we are planning to stay overnight at the
Hilton inside the airport.
Is it possible to take the train from the airport into Chicago to find
pizza?
My TOP airports are: Albuquerque & Anchorage for culture, art, & ease.
Amy
