You can get the El/Subway from airport to downtown.  There is also a bus 
terminal right across the street from the hotel.  I take the bus there to 
get to Wiscosin but I think they can get you on a local bus as well.

There is a tunnel under the street from the terminal buildings to the hotel. 
The first time I stayed there years ago, I called for the hotel shuttle van. 
We had to circle the hotel just to get across the street.  The driver told 
us about the tunnel when he let us out.
