I have a friend who has a digital SLR and several 1 and 2 Gb cards. He also
has a card reader attachment for his iPod. When he fills up a card, he
transfers the pictures to his iPod which has 20Gb free.

I carry 2 - 1Gb cards and 2 512Mb cards. When they are full, I get them
burned to a CD. Many places do this now. In 2002, there was a photo shop in
Grindelwald run by an American. Another friend of mine needed to burn his
cards to a disk, but the guy said that his system wasn't configured
correctly. Fortunately for the shop owner, my friend was a network engineer
and got his computer system straightened out. My friend got his CD.

I'm for the pocket digital. My friends are for the digital SLR. But we are
all digital.
