I would urge caution in attending a UEFA soccer tournament. In Europe,
especially if a British team is involved, these often turn ugly during and
especially after the match. A couple of years ago we were in Basel when a
match was being played. We were cautioned not to get near the stadium or be
anywhere in the central district after the match. There were major
incidents afterward and special riot police and fireman were needed to put
it down. In this instance, no British team was involved!
Just use caution if you do attend.
