[Idyllchat] Food

Apparently, the location of the Brunig Hotel in my original posting was
missed. The one with the large Rosti menu is in Hergiswil, down on the main
street near the glass factory. We had lunch at the hotel in Brunig once,
and found the food to be very expensive, and not nearly as tasty as at so
many other places.

Also, kohlrabi is widely available in Southern California. Jan buys it
frequently - great in a veggie plate.

Ronnie: Thanks for clarifying the location of the hotel.. I recall your
post some time ago regarding the accomodations and meals. Will be sure to
stop in this trip. And, the mysterious (until CH) kohlrabi are on the
shopping list, along with celery root and beets. Gemischter salads are a
staple of our Swiss diet, often served as the evening meal. Cheers. Joan.
