[Idyllchat] London Lodging

We have always had good luck with hotels on Norfolk Square in London.
A couple examples are the Ashley and the Cardiff - there are several
that are all similar.
These are budget hotels, so don't expect luxury, but we've been a few
times and found them to be clean and well kept and functional.
While they're not central, we really like the location - about a block from
Paddington station. This means that you can walk easilly to the Paddington
tube station for touring, and when you're ready to fly home you can catch
the Heathrow Express train from Paddington to the airport. For some
airlines
you can even check your bags at the train station.

Hi Fellow Untourists -
This time I'm in need of some reasonable, centrally located lodging in
London that has made a good impression on you. Of course, price matters.
This isn't the summer for an Untour for me, but I'm daydreaming of my next
opportunity!
Happy Trails to you all,
Sandy in Albany
