Whatever your problem was it seems to be solved because I got two of 
these, one sent to me and the other to IdyllChat at lists.untours.com 
(this group), so it seems you are able to post to the group.

As for information, I suggest that you immediately go to the Untours 
trip log site (http://www.untours.com/triplogs.html) and download and 
print all the logs there for Tuscany South, including ours. They are 
chock full of good information on places, restaurants, etc., from 
people who have already done it. If you have other specific 
questions, just post them here and I guarantee that you'll get quick responses.

Don't know which place you are staying at. We were at the largest of 
the Le Chiuse apartments, which sit just at the bottom of the hill 
town Montalcino, and you can view some of the photos we took at 
www.billtrak.net/italy.

Pete, and others, also have some excellent logs.

This is a fabulous time to visit this region. The weather is ideal.
