[Idyllchat] New Thread - Food

Since there is a lull in the Idyllchat traffic lately, perhaps we can begin
a new thread.

Jan’s favorite food in Switzerland is Rosti, and she has fallen in love with
the vegetable Rosti.  The only place we have found it (that we know how to
return to) is at the Brunig Hotel in Hergiswil.  Compared to most
restaurants which offer only one or two types, they have a large Rosti menu.
Does anyone know of other places that offer a large menu of Rosti dishes?

My favorite is Raclette, and I remember years ago that the Bahnhofli in
Lungern had a wide selection of Raclette plates, with various meats, etc.  I
don’t think that is true any longer.  Does anyone know of such a menu at any
other restaurant?

We’d also be interested in hearing about anyone’s favorite dishes at special
restaurants, reasonably priced, of course.
