    Hi Bill:  Think those may be Advent holidays--same as we celebrate in CH in May/June.  Always good for festivals--perhaps the same in Paris?  

    Thought of you and Eleanor when I read our local paper this am with an article on Paris which ended wity some interesting places to eat.  One is right up the Kover alley!  It says "take a break from sight-seeing and enjoy high tea and colorful macaroons at Laduree 75, avenue des Champs Elysees";  http://www.laduree.fr  Always love photos of your desserts!  Another is Angelina's tea salon (226, rue de Rivoli, just off the Jardin des Tuileries and famous for its hot chocolate. 

    Starting to drop items in the "getaway box" for our trip to CH next Monday!  Happy planning.  Joan.

      I just read that in France there are up to 4 holidays in May.  Will this be a problem with a Paris Untour during the month of May?
      Will tourist sites be closed during those holidays?  Has anyone out there who has been in Paris during the month of May
      had any problems in this regard?
